Freedom and Leadership: A Conversation with Frank Denius

Join Tom Hatfield as he interviews UT alumnus Frank Denius, one of America's most decorated World War II veterans. Denius landed on Omaha Beach in Normandy shortly after the initial landing on June 6, 1944, and fought in every major campaign until the war ended 11 months later. Hatfield, an internationally renowned military historian and director of UT Austin's Military History Institute, is co-author of Denius' soon-to-be published memoir, On the Way.
