UT System Regents to meet Thursday
AUSTIN — The University of Texas System Board of Regents will hold a special called meeting via telephone conference call at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, on the ninth floor of Ashbel Smith Hall, 201 W. 7th St. in Austin.
The Board will meet in executive session for possible discussion regarding real property, legal matters, gifts and individual personnel matters, including discussion related to the Brackenridge Tract and legal issues concerning purchasing and procurement.
The Board will then meet in open session for a discussion and to consider action, if any, on the approval of additional Available University Funds and extension of the term for the professional services agreement with Salesforce.com, Inc., for software development services related to the Total Educational Experience (TEx) version 2.0, an initiative of the UT System’s Institute for Transformational Learning (ITL).
The Board will also consider several Consent Agenda items, including the approval of the terms of the Employment Agreement with Michael V. Tidwell, as incoming president of UT Tyler.
The meeting is expected to adjourn at about 3:30 p.m.
