UT System Regents to meet Feb. 8-9
AUSTIN — The University of Texas System Board of Regents will meet Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 8-9, in Austin. The meeting will be held on the ninth floor of Ashbel Smith Hall, 201 W. 7th St.
The agenda book and links to the live webcast for the meeting are posted online. Parking for news media is available through the guard kiosk on Colorado Street between 6th and 7th streets.

- Report on the UT Rio Grande Valley School of Medicine by President Guy Bailey and Interim Medical School Dean Steven Lieberman.
- Report on UT MD Anderson Cancer Center’s Translational Research Accelerator, the research platform for the Moon Shots Program, by President Ronald DePinho and Chair of Genomic Medicine Andrew Futreal.

- Consider approval to establish a Doctor of Philosophy degree program in Civil Engineering at UT San Antonio.
- Report on faculty workload at the academic institutions for academic year 2015-2016 by UT System Executive Vice Chancellor Steven Leslie.

- Report on the UT System Office of Innovation and Strategic Investment strategic plan by Julie Goonewardene, UT System associate vice chancellor for innovation and strategic investment and managing director of the UT Horizon Fund.
