UT System Regents to meet Wednesday

AUSTIN—The University of Texas System Board of Regents will hold a special called meeting at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 28 at 1111 Travis Street, in downtown Houston.

The Board will meet in open session to hear a report about UT System debt programs and debt capacity and to consider authorizing UT Southwestern to enter into a partnership with Texas Health Resources to build a medical office building and hospital in Frisco.

The Board will recess into executive session at about 10:35 a.m. and is expected to reconvene in open session at about 1 p.m. to discuss Available University Fund expenditures, budget issues, funding sources, roles and missions, and functions of UT System administration and to discuss preparation for the July 2017 Board Retreat.

The meeting is expected to adjourn at about 3 p.m.
