The UT System Office of Academic Affairs and the Office of Talent and Innovation will host the next installment of the Block 82 speaker series on Friday, November 8, 2019, at noon. Ashley Alaniz-Moyer, executive director of the Hispanic Scholarship Consortium, will present Helping Texas Develop Workforce-Ready Leaders Engaged in Our Communities.
In 2018, Ashley was named as one of the Austin Under 40 Award winners in the Youth and Education category. In addition to her leadership of the Hispanic Scholarship Consortium, Ashley is chair of Central Texas Signing Day and a board member of Measure Austin, Texas Christian University’s Austin Alumni Chapter, and EduRise, a start-up non-profit. She also is a member of the Institutional Racism & Systemic Inequities Task Force organized by Mayor Steve Adler.
