Education

The UT System health institutions play a key role in education. Within the System's five health institutions, there are five medical schools, two dental schools, three nursing schools, four biomedical science graduate schools, four schools of health professions as well as a school of public health with five regional campuses.  UT System has medical schools at three academic institutions, UT Austin Dell Medical School, UT Health Science Center at Tyler, and UT Rio Grande Valley School of Medicine.  Refer to the Academic Affairs website for more information on these medical schools.
