My name is Isaiah Garcia, and I grew up in Washington, D.C. I spent my younger years in Spain, where I started school.
My name is Captain Laura Pean and I am the Patrol Commander at the University of Texas Medical Branch Police Department in Galveston. I have been with the University of Texas System Police for a little over 9 years. I am originally from England and moved to Texas in 1993.

My name is Daniel Maldonado, and I was born in “The Sun City” El Paso, TX. Growing up, I dreamed of being in law enforcement.
My name is Evelyn Castilleja. I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. I started my law enforcement career in 2011 at UT Austin, where I met some of the most incredible mentors and had the privilege of working with the best officers.

I started my career with the El Paso Police Department in June 1989. We wrote our reports on typewriters using carbon paper. Later, we stepped up to electric and multi copy paper. That was an awesome change.
I have been a resident of the Rio Grande Valley for 40 years and I have been in law enforcement for almost 30 years. I started working for UTRGV Police Department in 2018 as a Police Officer, and was later assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division as a Detective. In 2020 I was promoted to Sergeant and supervised the patrol division. In October 2020 I was assigned as Sergeant to the Criminal Investigations Division where I currently lead and train my detectives in all aspects of criminal investigations. The University of Texas at Houston Police Department has allowed me the opportunity to grow, lead, train and empower many police officers and public safety officers. I have also had the opportunity to serve under great leadership and interact with patient, visitors and a great community of faculty members, staff, co-workers who in part are members of the number one Cancer Center in the world.
I was raised in Austin and grew up on the UT Campus. Both of my parents retired from The University of Texas at Austin. I graduated from Concordia University with a BA in History and a minor in Communications.
Officer Elizabeth Villarreal-Arbogast is a lifelong resident of El Paso. She attended The University of Texas at El Paso, where she earned dual Bachelor’s Degrees in Criminal Justice and Sociology and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree with an anticipated graduation date of December 2021.
Officer Nancy Medina started working for UT Southwestern PD in 2016 as a Police Communications Officer after completing her undergraduate and master’s education in Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Texas at Arlington. After encouragement from the UTSW PD command staff, Nancy attended a local police academy and was commissioned as a police officer for UTSW PD in 2018.
Sergeant Fraser began his career in law enforcement in 1986 joining the United States Air Force’s 7th Security Police Squadron based at Carswell Air Force Base in Ft. Worth, Texas. He served for 5 years also participating in Desert Storm.
