As the University of Texas System works to optimize quality outcomes within the system’s major medical schools, UT cardiac surgeons have come together to learn from one another and strive for excellence in cardiac surgical outcomes through the University of Texas Cardiac Surgery Quality Collaborative (UTCSQC).
Launched in 2017, following a day-long UT System Quality Retreat, the Quality Collaborative uses data to identify and illuminate areas of potential improvements across the UT System and share best practices with the goal of being the best in the country.
